Founded in 2000 on the belief that World Change Starts with Educated Children®, Room to Read develops children’s foundational literacy skills, as well as life skills that promote gender equality. We nurture these essential skills in children by training and coaching educators, creating quality learning materials and spaces, strengthening education systems, and delivering programs directly and with partners – all while honoring the dignity of every child.

Room to Read (Hong Kong) Limited is a Hong Kong tax-exempt organization as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. All donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction. No goods or services have been or will be provided to you in exchange for this contribution. As such, donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong Income Tax purposes during the tax year 2022/23.
