In many communities around the world, girls face enormous barriers just to go to school – from cultural discrimination and early marriage to poverty and violence. But with the right support, education can change everything.

Room to Read’s Gender Equality Program has already reached over 3.7 million girls, helping them stay in school, build confidence, and take control of their futures.

Room to Read (Hong Kong) Limited is a Hong Kong tax-exempt organization as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. All donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction. No goods or services have been or will be provided to you in exchange for this contribution. As such, donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong Income Tax purposes during the tax year 2022/23.

An official receipt for one-time donations will be sent by the end of the following month. For monthly donations, an official summary receipt for the year will be sent by the end of February, the following year.
