Your fundraising goals will make a significant difference:
We ask all of our charity runners try to raise $5,000 (including the minimum commitiment) in order to secure education for 10,000 children and girls!

$2,500: Literacy Learning packages for an entire school including student books, posters, materials and supplies, library management manuals and reading activity guides.
$5,000: Support 100 children with literacy education for an entire year
$10,000: Support 40 girls in our Girls' Education Program for an entire year

Levels are representative, and all funds will be directed to Room to Read’s area of greatest need—ensuring your fundraising has the greatest possible impact.

Room to Read (Hong Kong) Limited is a Hong Kong tax-exempt organization as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. All donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction. No goods or services have been or will be provided to you in exchange for this contribution. As such, donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong Income Tax purposes during the tax year 2022/23.

An official receipt for one-time donations will be sent by the end of the following month. For monthly donations, an official summary receipt for the year will be sent by the end of February, the following year.
