This is more than a walk—it’s a global movement uniting the marine industry to celebrate, support, and uplift women and girls!

To go to school, girls in many communities must overcome many challenges including cultural bias, discrimination, poverty and violence. Room to Read’s Girls’ Education Program has supported over 3.7 million girls, advancing education, literacy, and gender equality in historically low-income communities around the globe.

Your donation can provide girls in our program with:

Classes on life skills such as leadership, resilience and critical thinking
Individualized support and guidance from a local woman mentor
Family and community engagement to raise awareness and build support for girls' education
Material support for needs such as tuition, books and supplies, uniforms, and safe transportation to school

Room to Read (Hong Kong) Limited is a Hong Kong tax-exempt organization as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. All donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction. No goods or services have been or will be provided to you in exchange for this contribution. As such, donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong Income Tax purposes during the tax year 2022/23.
