Founded in 2000 on the belief that World Change Starts with Educated Children®, Room to Read helps children in historically low-income communities develop literacy skills and a habit of reading, and supports girls as they build life skills to succeed in school and negotiate key life decisions. We collaborate with local communities, partner organizations and governments to test and implement innovative models that can be integrated into education systems to deliver positive outcomes for children at scale. Room to Read (Hong Kong) Limited is a Hong Kong tax-exempt organization as described in Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. All donations over HK$100 are eligible for tax deduction. No goods or services have been or will be provided to you in exchange for this contribution. As such, donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong Income Tax purposes during the tax year 2022/23.
